Unhappy Can not input ( - ) in phone number in address book

It is very stupid that S60 address book application cannot accept (-.) when inputting phone number.
I have to use the Note application, type phone number with grouping characters )(-. then do the "Find phone number" then "Add to contact"
It is even more stupid that after I successfully stored phone number with grouping characters into address book using above workaround, when I use the PC Suite, it cannot recognize that phone number and dont allow me to send message...
In PC suite contact edit screen, I cannot type grouping characters )(-.
    Very sad and stupid, NOKIA.
Does any one know how to input phone number with digit-grouping characters?

it not stupic desing, it is desing that prevents errors, since '-' character is not a actually phone-number character. all and all, as this DiBo concentrates on development related issues, you might find more end-user problems related Dibo better suited for your query.
