43.2 kbps HSCSD connection with 9210

    Hi,
I would like to make a HSCSD connection at 43.2 kbps speed with using Nokia 9210 Comm. in a GSM network in which 14.4 kbps channel coding is supported but I am not sure which AT+CBST and/or AT+CHSN parameters shall I use. Can anyone tell me how to do that ?

    Regards.

RE: 43.2 kbps HSCSD connection with 9210

    Hi,
it depends on which protocol does your network support.
If it is ISDN V.110 you could use either:
    AT+CBST=81,0,1;+CHSN=6,3,0,12 or
    AT+CBST=81,0,1;+CHSN=6,0,0,12 or
AT+CBST=81,0,1;+CHSN=0,3,0,12 (in all cases you could put also "0" (zero) instead of "12" as the last +CHSN parameter).

If it is ISDN V.120, just replace "81" with "50" or "51" as the first +CBST parameter.

And in case that your provider requires analog connection (V.34) use
    AT+CBST=0,0,1;+CHSN=4,0,0,0 or
AT+CBST=16,0,1;+CHSN=4,0,0,0 but the problem is that with analog connection you will never get 43.2 kb/s with Nokia 9210.
