    Affiliate program

    Ciao,

is there any plans to create an Affiliate program with revenue share?
I noticed mow that from a mobile site/app you can send a user to the specific application/content for purchase.
It would be a great addition to have an Affiliate program and have revenue share to drive traffic to mobile content published on OVI Store.

    Any news on this?

    Hi Alessandro
Do you have a link to the precise method of doing this?
    Thanks

    Re: Affiliate program

    Ciao,

I just use the web link to the specific app on the OVI Store.
Take that link and place it on a mobile site or app, when you click you are sent to the OVI Store mobile site.
At this point the OVI Store application kicks in and you are at the page of that specific content.

So it would pretty easy to create an Affiliate ID system with a revenue share model.

Also it would be used for linking content from normal web site. I created a banner similar to the AppStore one:

    Re: Affiliate program

    Hello,

Is there any updates regarding Ovi affiliate program? We are ready to set up links from our Symbian apps on our website to Ovi Store if they propose beneficial terms for that. For example, Mobihand takes 40% of revenue for apps selling in common cases and 10% if a customer comes from our web site. Everyone is happy.
