Funny translation of a category name in Ovi Store - are there more?

I just came across a somewhat odd translation of a category name in Ovi Store that makes me wonder how many more of this sort there might be, and how well acquainted the translators were with the product they were translating.

The cateogry "Utilities" is named "Öffentliche Einrichtungen" in the German version. This is certainly one possible translation from a dictionary (meaning something like "Public Services"), but it is not the word someone would use for a piece of software - this makes it more look like a set of tools for local governments. ;-)

My vote would be for the term to be left untranslated, or changed to "Hilfsprogramme" or "Nützliches" or something like that.

Any other examples, or recommendations where to report such issues?

    ciao marcus

    Hi Marcus,
This is a very funny translation!! laughing !.

According to Google "Öffentliche Einrichtungen" language translation German-> English this is "Public Facilities".

A direction sign in an English street would point to the nearest Public Toilet!. When some one reads this .

Can I suggest you copy text of your post and send to
