    can't configure qt for symbian platform

    Please help, i have a problem configuring qt for symbian platform:

    Setting up environment for Qt usage

    The problem is highlighted above, and the solution is included in the error message. You must make your SDK (hopefully you have one) the default one in the system.

    Now, if you have an SDK and it is not default that is on itself suspicious. If you are using Windows Vista search in the wiki for "Moving to Windows Vista" and read the section about file virtualization.

    P.S: If you install the 4.6 beta package for Symbian you do not need to configure Qt anymore.

    Is there any link that can help direct me to configure qt for symbian and mysql? is it possible?

    As it is said in the error it self you are just required to set the default device before you configure the Qt.
    You can set the device using 'device -setdefault your SDK'.

    There after you can configure the Qt. You are required to configure the Qt for each SDK separatly.

    how does qt for symbian work with mysql datbase? is it possible to connect to mysql database with qt for symbian?

    I can't find the link now but I'm sure I've seen it written black on white in Qt's documentation that for Symbian only SQLite is supported. Do a search in the docs, you may find it as well.

    Black on white here:

    The following technologies have limited support:

    QtSql
    The only driver supported is SQLite.
