I need to access certain (see below) accelerometer sensor properties on
an N79 phone in order to properly scale the data I am taking from the
phone's accelerometer. According to the pys60 docs there is no way to do this
Set/Get Sensor Channel Property
The current release of Python S60 sensor module does not support either retrieving or modifying all the sensor properties of a particular channel like DataRate, MeasureRange, ScaledRange and so on. This feature will be provided in the future dot releases. For more information, refer the individual sensor class description.
The values I need are in the sensor API and are: KSensrvPropIDScaledRange, KSensrvPropIDMeasureRange. With these two numbers I can properly convert the numbers I am getting out the the N79 accelerometer to "g"s. Can anyone help?
