    Ovi store log in problems.

    Hi everyone, newbie here.

    I've been having problems trying to login to Ovi Store this last week. I've even tried getting my password reset, but I never receive any emails.

    I've not changed any of my account details at all.. Can anyone shed any light on this.

    Two of the usual thinks are
    1) make sure your email spam filter is not blocking addresses from the Ovi Store.
    2) Delete your internet cache Tools->general-> delete Delete all delete saved form settings
    3) Check your fire-wall is not blocking, Orange UK, block access to this site if you access via 3G,justs times out!, unless you have a contract!!.

    4) clear any cache and temp store ie the cookies store.
    5) make sure you are running a reliable virus check like AVG anti virus, not some broken expired version for N*%t**N so called Int*&&net Sec*&^ri*ty. Basiclly this version removes the Windows Firewall ie turned off and replaces with Sym***c firewall. How bizarree.

    If you are still having difficulty, email publishtovi.support@nokia.com and ask them to reset your password and also that they should reply using the email that you sent.

    Hi,

    So do try the ideas that jim gave you here. But if you still face the odd difficulty,
    Try the following:

    1) Reinstalling your web browser. (Its not the best solution, but it does work sometimes.)
    2) Try a different browser, (Eg: Opera, Mozilla. Etc.)
    3) Reset your modem and check for port forward issues. (Don't try this unless you know what you are doing, i did have this issue once as i had port forwarded uTorrent and resetting the port forward helped.)
