    Exclamation j2me not supporting generics

    i am writing the following code in my midlet , and trying to run it , it shows the following error:


    C:\Documents and Settings\rohit\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\arrayconcatination\src\arrayconcatination.java:103: generics are not supported in -source 1.3
    (use -source 5 or higher to enable generics)
    Vector<String[]> v = new Vector<String[]>();
    1 error

    i am using netbeans 6.7 and java 6 to compile this program , please help me to solve the problem .

    that is because there is no generics on j2me

    am trying to consume a web service that returns an array of a class so how can i do it?

    Same issue. When trying to create a list of images:

    You may want to use what is available: http://docs.oracle.com/javame/config...e-summary.html - Vector, perhaps Stack. Without the <>.

    In case that web service is a .NET one, check this out: JSR 172: Accessing a .NET Web Service (Nokia Developer Wiki).

    The wscompile tool generates all the necessary classes for you.
