periodicly displaying images to out of memory exception

    Hi evrybody,

I want periodicly to display images, but I have problem with it. I have MIDlet with reference on Form in another class. So I do like this. I get new image, I delete everything in the form -> form.deleteAll() and then form.append(img); this is everything what I do, but anyway the memory is going down and down till out of memory exception.

    Any idea?

    thanks in advance,

    Milan

PS: I dont want to use Canvas cause it doesnt look nice with the joistic in the middle and the four A,B,C,D buttons. Im making app for Nokia 5800 with S60 5th Ed.BTW form.deleteAll() and form.append(img) is inside thread in the method locationUpdate(...) cause I gets map image depending on the GPS location

Use Imageitem instead of image on the form, and You need to set the new map image on the form use form.imageItem.setImage("New Image"); instead of deleteAll() and append().

    thanks,

Well, the problem is solved. I went again through the code, put all references on image = null, and I used Canvas. Actualy your information that its possible to disable the virtual keypad solved the problem.

This is my first question to Nokia forum, and in so short time I solve my problem.
    Thanks you one more time,
