    Web site says:

Mitr supports J2ME, Symbian, Blackberry and Windows Mobile for "Write Once, Run Everywhere" respite.
I think that's cool. But what does "respite" mean?

a brief period of rest and recovery between periods of exertion or after something disagreeable.

    used in a sentence

After reading this thread that veered off topic I took a brief respite and softly banged my head agains the wall.
