    Nokia 5800 java keypad

I have an app that requires user alpha-numeric user input on first launch. However, since Nokia 5800 is a touch screen phone and when the app is launched it shows soft keys only for navigation along with four other buttons labeled A, D, C, D. These keys allow to input 7, 9, a symbol and backspace.
Is there any way to display a keypad or qwerty board for user input on java apps?
