Unhappy Cannot compile Qt Mobility 1.0-TP2 on Windows: Cannot find 'nmake'... in your PATH

I've compiled Qt Mobility on Linux successfully but I can't compile Qt Mobility on Windows (for Windows development, not Symbian).

The error message is weird: Cannot find 'nmake', 'mingw32-make' or 'make' in your PATH

but mingw32-make is clearly on my path (I'm using Qt Command Prompt):

    Code:
    C:\qt-mobility-src-1.0.0-tp2>configure
    C:\qt-mobility-src-1.0.0-tp2
    Checking available Qt
    4.6.0
    Checking make
"Cannot find 'nmake', 'mingw32-make' or 'make' in your PATH"
     "Aborting."

    C:\qt-mobility-src-1.0.0-tp2>mingw32-make -v

    This program built for i386-pc-mingw32

I tried rebooting as suggested in http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...d.php?p=691473 but that didn't work.

    Update: Solved. See: http://qt-mobility.blogspot.com/2010...windows-7.html

Re: Cannot compile Qt Mobility 1.0-TP2 on Windows: Cannot find 'nmake'... in your PAT

This bug was discovered shortly after the tp2 release and is due to a small typo which caused a qmake evaluation to be always true. The proper fix is

    http://qt.gitorious.org/qt-mobility/...16da04ff5c4fce

This should render the configure.bat patch obsolete.

Perl is now mentioned as requirement in the installation guide.

    Thank you @AlexBI.

I've updated my Qt Mobility for Windows tutorial at: http://qt-mobility.blogspot.com/2010...windows-7.html
