According to http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/5800_XpressMusic/ JSR-256 should be available "From firmware version 21.0.025 onwards". I have firmware version 31.0.101 but when I try accessing any of the JSR-256 classes (i.e "java.microedition.sensor.*") I get "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError" error i.e. the library is missing.

Installing the JSR-256 Beta Add-on (http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...beta.sisx.html) or installing Nokia Java Runtime 2.0 for S60 (http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia...ime-20-for-s60) fixes the problem but I cannot expect end-users to do do this.

Should JSR-256 work on the XM 5800 with the latest firmware as suggested by the device details specification?
