    ServiceBrowser example: addService() fails

    Hi,

    I've been trying to build my own plugin for the service framework and I got it working with S60 5th edition emulator. It does not work on the device though. Then I checked with ServiceBrowser example and it seems that on device (N97 Mini) addService() fails every time, because list of services in serviceBrowser example is always empty. In emulator I got my own plugin to be visible on that list and it seems to work in the actual application as well. Any suggestions what might be wrong?

    Indeed there is an issue and we are looking into it now. Thank you for pointing this out.

    In general the code paths for Emulator vs hardware are different as the emulator doesn't support multiple processes at the same time.

    ripatus & AlexBI,

    Can you show me how to run a Qt Mobility app working on the emulator?

    I cannot install Qt_Mobility_tech_preview.sis with error:

    Certificate error. Contact the application supplier.

    When I run a Qt Mobility app that uses Contacts, it only return "memory" and "invalid" Contact managers... that is, same as when I run the app in Windows. It doesn't return the S60 Contact Manager.
