    [moved] Device localized folder name

    Hi,

I'm trying to create my application installation folder.
    I know that I must use group_name from APP_REGISTRATION_INFO.

However I need that the folder name must depends on the device language (at the installation time).

I've tried to follow this approach "TSS000367_-_Localized_folder_names_for_application_icons", but this is only possible when there are several languages in the package file, right?

So my question is: Is it possible to create the folder name based on the current device language?

    Thanks in advance,
    Luis Guilherme

    Re: Device localized folder name

Yes (as in: yes, it should work). Use the PKG script features for installing language specific files.

Re: [moved] Device localized folder name

    Hi all,

I already defined my supported language codes in the PKG file:
    ;Language - standard language definitions
    &EN,GE,IT

Then my *_reg.rsc file copied in the installation stage will depend on the default language on the device.

However my doubt is if it's possible to have a default language in case that the device language isn't EN, GE or IT.
For instance, my current device language is PT (not supported on PKG file), during the installation I want to avoid the popup language question, is it possible to use EN by default and do not show the language popup?

    Thanks in advance,
    Luis Guilherme
