    Record/reroute currently outputted/played sound

    Hello developers,

I searched the forum but didn't find a post exactly answearing my question. Is it possible to capture currently played audio independent from the playing app (for example from music-player or any other app like 3rd party oggplayer or a played webradio stream, etc). I don't want to playback any file myself but instead reroute/record the audio outputted. In the first step capturing would mean saving to a file.

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Greetings

    Chris

I never seen any API that could do that, thus I would assume that at least the public SDK would not contain any API for that purpose.
