    Question Automatic Start

Hi there. Does anyone know how to start an application automatically when the phone is turned on, rather than the user having to start the application?

    Hello,

I guess that is not supported...see the Java Security Domains - API protection groups

You can start an application either using push registry, content handler ..

Through use of PushRegistry you can start application automatically at specified time but even that needs user confirmation for starting the application for unsigned MIDlets.

Well, I hope that till the time you will read this post, you have got the answer for the same. You can not start the app on the startup of the device by any means. However you use to give some intervention to the device/app like the incoming SMS, Connection, or the user himself. This required the pushregistry. You can read about the same on web.
    Thanks with Regards,

pushRegistry can invoke the application automaticall at the specified time. But only then when device is switched on.. if device is switch off at the time of invocation of application then it is useless. Also unsigned applications require user confirmation before get autostart..
