    Video support in WRT widgets

Hi, I am just trying to compile the options for playing video in a widget:

    - Is there a way to play a locally stored (inside the widget) video file directly in the web page (embedded)?
    - Is there a way to play a locally stored (inside the widget) video file via launching the native media player?
    - The same above two questions, but when the file is stored at a remote url (streaming)?
    - What video types are supported (avi, mp4, etc)?

    Thanks!

    UP!

is there a way to play video embedded or it uses the external native player?

you should at least be able to view the video in the native video play by loading it with openURL(), whether it be local or online.

I haven't tried embedding video, but you can certainly embed sound, though it has very little functionality.
