    platformRequest() Permissions...

    Hi,

    I'm in the final stage of the development of the current application. I signed the midlet and everything. But its still asking when i'm trying to call / send sms from my application. Is it normal that it asks the user for the permission since it will be using airtime or i could include a permission like the one i used for getting the location ?

    Re: platformRequest() Permissions...

    The effect of signing an application depends on the handset model, firmware version and operator variant. Read this for details. Basically, whether or not security prompts appear depends on the setting in the device's application manager. Signing might change which setting is the default, and which settings are available.

    Graham.
