    Question How to hit a URL

    Hi All,

    I need to hit a url from my j2me code. I have a command OK. when I press OK, then the URL shoild be hit.
    How should I do this ??

    Hi,

    What do you mean by hit? If you want to just call a URL you can use the javax.microedition.io.httpconnection for that. But if you want that the URL should open in browser then it may be possible only through PlatformRequest.

    Please be more specific in your question about what you want to do.

    You can use HttpConnection class for hitting a url and responding in Appln itself. In this case you've to handle for all the replies from the Connection.

    Or, when you click on OK, write a code to open the Browser and push the URL to that. Sample code for this is available in wiki.
