Microsoft Bluetooth and Nokia PC Suite

I have a 3650 and would like it to connect to my workstation. I have a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse and am able to pair the devices but the COM port does not show up.

I was able to get everything up and working on another machine (Sony picturebook) with built in bluetooth.

I have read the response that the PC Suite is not supported under XP but I know that it does work if the COM port shows up.

What I am wondering about is why the Microsoft driver does not see the services of the phone.

Can I have 2 bluetooth transcievers? I could just buy a Belkin one and use it for the phone right?

MS stack does not support Serial Port Profile. It does not
support any OBEX based profiles either.

It supports DUN only apart from HID profiles.

    Possible?

When I called MS to get an update on the Serial Port Profile support the rep told me "later this year". He did however tell me (off the record) about a stack that "some people are using" that supports the HID profile and the Serial Port Profile (as well as almost all the other profiles). It's called IVT BlueSoleil and it sounds like it would be pretty cool, but all they have on their website is an evaluation copy that limits you to 2Mb of bluetooth transfers, but the 1.2.0 version looks like what we want. Thanks

I want to tell DSmooth that I follow his sugestion to use Bluesoleil software in the way to use Microsoft Bluetooth hardware to communicate the mouse, keyboard and my P800.

After hours of frustration I found this forum and the solution was great. The software works very well and is very easy to configure following the user guide.

I am only a user and I like to try with new technologies.

I only want to tell you all that this software could be a very nice solution to avoid compatibility problems in bluetooth issues.

    Thanks
