    Question about Prompting the user to select a Bluetooth device using RNotifier

    Hey guys, I have a question about this link:

    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...sing_RNotifier

    and it seems that I get an error when I build it:

    "undefined identifier 'MBTDeviceFinderNotify'"

    in "class CTestingAppUi : public CAknAppUi, MBTDeviceFinderNotify"

    in my CTestingAppUi.h

    I don't know what's wrong with my code but I've tried adding "public" to the MBTDeviceFinderNotify but still that error occurs.

    Please help!

    Did you also remember to include the header that has the definition of the MBTDeviceFinderNotify in your CTestingAppUi.h ?

    Yes, i've tried that already. But when I did that, another error occurs.

    Undefined symbol: 'void CBlock_OutAppUi::BTDeviceSelected(void) (?BTDeviceSelected@CBlock_OutAppUi@@UAEXXZ)'

    What does this mean if this kind of error occurs?

    I've already added all of the libraries and headers for bluetooth.

    I can't seem to locate where/what is the problem.

    Ok, so I've managed to correct one error. But still there's an error about

    "Undefined symbol: 'TBTDeviceResponseParams::TBTDeviceResponseParams(void) (??0TBTDeviceResponseParams@@QAE@XZ)'"

    and undefined symbol errors are indicating that you have forgotten to include a library that has the implementation into your mmp file. So check SDK docs for required libraries and add them.

    Oh what a noob! I forgot to add the necessary libraries. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for replying!
