    LWUIT Labels Font size problem

    Hi again.

I was updating my app, and I tried to make the size of the font more dynamic (by screen size). The problem is I always tested my app on a 6220 classic, which is 240x320. Now trying the app in a 5800 which is 360x640 I have doubled the size of the font, but Labels text appear cutted.

Has anyone got a similar problem?

    Thx

Re: LWUIT Labels Font size problem

Look at this photo that I have taken of my nokia5800, and you will see that there's a pair of labels with their texts cutted horizontally.

This happens in more labels, but the problem only appears when the text showed has set a big size font, I suspect for sizes bigger than 55-60+

Is it possible that? "There's a buffer size of what's going to be rendered for each component, and setting this huge font, the buffer it's overloaded?" Or some kind of "history" like mine :P

    Thx for read.

Re: LWUIT Labels Font size problem

If someone having this problem, I haven't solved it yet, but the max size I have found that works properly is 52 (without bold).

I'm using the LWUIT Resources Editor for editing/creating the fonts.

    Hi

is there any solution or workaround available in meantime? I observed exactly the same behavior on different emulators and I have no idea how to solve it.

Try creating the Custom Font from slightly large Bitmap image and use own Custom drawing on Custom Item with LWUIT.
    Thanks,
