    My device firmware is v30.0.011.

    What about your device?

I have v20.0.012 (Quite latest ) but i will soon update it to v40 which supports kinetic scrolling. Well! i give this scenario a try right now , i created a contacts api example, make its Flash Lite Stub using Mark's Packager & here are my finding :
1- Application doesn't close on Red Key (which can be fixed)
2- If we close/kill the application from open apps menu, then a process of it starts running in the background (one can identify the process using Y-task) & thats the reason while uninstalling we get a pop-up showing that some part of it is already running.
3- Critical thing is this it leaks 1 to 1.5 MB per execution on my device (if we previously closed/killed it from menu). So, if u launch the same executable 20 to 25 times it may affect over all performance of device.
Now, it is hard to say that whether is a platform services issue or Flash Lite API framework issue. Because according to ur feedback, if we use swf launcher method then it doesn't run in background after killing. The only thing one can hope is may be a latest firmware update fixed this issue. Otherwise, write down ur own http server or make an extension for the available API bridge or stay happy with swf launcher limitations.

    Best Regards,

Cool Re: Remain connection - Contact List

    So Saji,

I think that I'll package a version 1.0 without any Service functionality (No accelerometer game mode, contact list access and SMS Sender), just to publish to Ovi.

Thanks for all the help and discussion.
