    wml + php failure

    Hi all, got a problem with my wml + php.

    Im testing it on Nokia E51, and the error is " Content-Type not supported... "

    here is the code: Home.php

    header("Content-type: text/vnd.wap.wml");
    echo "<?xml version=\"1.0\"?>";
    echo "<!DOCTYPE wml PUBLIC \"-//WAPFORUM//DTD WML 1.1//EN\"" . " \"http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/wml_1.1.xml\">";

    I've tried removing the HEADER and it worked fine, but my links were seen as plain text.
    Any1 got an idea what it may be ????

    Thx in adv, bye.

    Re: wml + php failure

    On the web server side, check configuration is correct for mobile MIME types.
    If you do not have access to the web server, then it's a problem ofcourse.

    Mobile browser uses MIME type in finding out should the web file should be browser viewed or should it be launched by phone UI / by native app (e.g. video in video player).

    Apache, IIS...? different methods.

    Example Apache:

    Here is an example .htaccess configuration file that adds support for mobile MIME types.
    # Add Mobile MIME types for xhtml, wml, wbmp and wmls file extensions
    AddType application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml .xhtml
    AddType text/vnd.wap.wml .wml
    AddType image/vnd.wap.wbmp .wbmp
    AddType text/vnd.wap.wmlscript .wmls
    Example IIS:
