    Ui Resolution on Different Phone

    Hi,

    I have developed an Ui using QtDesigner now I have set all the layout ,sizeconstratints...
    Now the problem is I want to test this UI on N95 and XPRESS 5800,On N95 this Ui is working fine but the same Ui when tested on Xpress 5800 does not give desired result. Eg:
    1)Font size appears double the size which is shown on N95.
    2)Due to point 1.My label text is shown only half
    3)line edit also appears of different size as shown on N95.

    Can anyone help me on this issue.

    Regards,
    Vishal

    Do you resize and show your Mainwindow to 240x320px?

    Could you post some screenshots? I generally, showMaximized the Mainwindow and layout the other elements in a grid layout and it works well to be scaled on devices with different resolution.

    Qt Designer hardcodes size of the window in setupUi using QWidget::resize().

    Inspect the code generated by the uic (Qt Designer), did it hardcoded anything related to
    fonts there?

    Hi,
    Thanks for Reply,
    Below is just the part of code generated by the uic for my UI:

    Code:
            void setupUi(QDialog *LoginFrom)
        {
            if (LoginFrom->objectName().isEmpty())
                LoginFrom->setObjectName(QString::fromUtf8("LoginFrom"));
            LoginFrom->resize(239, 300);
            LoginFrom->setMinimumSize(QSize(239, 0));

            QFont font;
            font.setPointSize(5);
            font.setBold(true);
            font.setWeight(75);

            label = new QLabel(LoginFrom);
            label->setObjectName(QString::fromUtf8("label"));
            label->setMinimumSize(QSize(61, 16));
            label->setMaximumSize(QSize(61, 16));
            label->setFont(font);
            label->setStyleSheet(QString::fromUtf8("color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"));
            horizontalLayout->addWidget(label);

     }
    Regards,

    This is hardcoded window size. AFAIK there is no way to remove this. You will need to do QWidget::showMaximized after setupUi() as it was suggested already.

            label->setFont(font);
    And this is hardcoded font size. I guess you can remove this settings using Qt Designer.
