    Question QT4.6.2 on linux - missing library for maemo development

    I downloaded qt-maemo5-opensource-src-4.6.2.tar.qz on the ubuntu 9.1 in a VMplayer for windows.

    Unpacked and built the source and set QTCreator1.3.1 to use the toolchain I'd just built.

    I've also installed the latest SDK's in scratch box.

    The source files don't compile outside the scratch box due to a missing <QtMaemo5> library. This is only located in the scratch box libs. compile fine inside.

    Is there anyway of compiling and debugging programmes outside of the scratchbox? what did I do wrong in building 4.6.2?

    Many thanks,

    You cannot use Maemo specific code outside of Maemo environment. Do you find it illogical?
    If you want to compile Maemo application inside Ubuntu use
    #ifdef Q_WS_MAEMO_5
