Sneak preview of joystick text entry FEP for Forum Nokia developers

    Hello fellow developers,

We are about to release our first product to the public and would like to offer you the opportunity of a pre-release try out. This offer will only be available until Friday, April 25 2003.

KeyStick is a system for entering text on a small device like a mobile phone. It combines our patent pending predictive text system with joystick-only input to allow text entry which is comparable in speed and more accurate than T9. This is achieved using just the joystick and back button.

This means it is possible to dial numbers, select people from contacts or send SMSes and emails without even opening your 7650 for instance.

The Series 60 version of KeyStick will be the first public launch of this technology.

To download the SIS file and the manual, go to:

    http://www.whatnext.biz/download/KeyStick.zip

then email us at preview@whatnext.biz with an IMEI and we will send you a registration key to get the product fully operational.

We want to have the system tested on as diverse an array of devices and configurations as possible before releasing it to the public.

We appreciate any feedback on any aspect of the system including its usability, stability, documentation, etc. Anyone who helps us with any comments will be rewarded with a registration master key which will activate any version of any of our products released for the next 12 months.

PS - We hate spam as much as you do and we guarantee that your email address will not be used for anything except this preview offer.

    Best Regards

    Kevin Dinn

Tried to test this but it asks for a registration key when attempting to activate KeyStick.

Yep - just email us at preview@whatnext.biz with an IMEI and we will send you a registration key which will fully activate the product for that device.
