Qt for Maemo and Qt for embedde Linux

    hello,
as I know Maemo is linux system base on debian, so it some kind of linux. Am I right? If I am right what is difference between Qt for maemo and Qt for embedded linux?
I found on wikipedia - Embedded_Linux that (google)Android is some kind of embedded linux, so is it possible to deploy application complied with Qt for Linux embedded on Android?

Maemo is indeed based on Debian Linux.

Android is also based on Linux, but the programming environment for Android is based on Java, so Qt does not apply, until/unless Google allows native C/C++ development on Android, too.

Maemo Qt implementation is using X server, while Qt for Embedded Linux doesn't.

Android doesn't support Qt officially. There is an experimental port of Qt to Android platform: http://code.google.com/p/android-lighthouse/
