    Maximum buffer size for contact image

    hi all,
    I have a doubt regarding assigning image to contact. I want to know the maximum buffer size that can be hold by image item in contact. If i assign more than 1MB image to contact app got crashed.... Why it is so happened..

    it is propably not about the buffersize, but ore about the pixel size, anyway as the images are used in a device, there are hardly any reason to have bigger resolution than the devices screen resolutions with the contacts images, thus try scaling the image to screen resolutions and then saving it to jpg buffer, i'm rather certain that this way you never go close to 1MB on any of the image buffers.

    search the wiki with keyword resizing the image there is a exact article which deals with scaling of the image.
