Question How to set up Maemo on Linux machine.

I download the "maemo5-sdk-install_5.0.sh" and "maemo-scratchbox-install_5.0.sh" and put on my Linux machine. But once I double click the icon, there is a window come out and says "No packages were given for installation."

So How can I continue install QT on Linux5?

    Regards
    Laya

Run your favourite X terminal like gnome-terminal or konsole and start script there with the command:
    Code:
    bash maemo5-sdk-install_5.0.sh

    Hi Daniil

    Thanks for your reply.
The icon name for my one is maemo-sdk-install_5.0.sh.
I tried to type both "bash maemo-sdk-install_5.0.sh" and "bash maemo5-sdk-install_5.0.sh" on my VMware but it all say "No such file or directory
    ".

cd to where it's installed, or supply a path. And note that with some Unix/Linux configs "." isn't in the path, so you may need to type "./mycmd" instead of simply "mycmd".

If you are using VMWare any way, it would be beneficial for you to download Ubuntu Image with bundled scratchbox and Maemo 5 SDK. Get it here:
