Creating Jar file for HelloWorldMIDlet example

I am getting an "Error verifying class example/hello/HelloWorldMIDlet" message from the emulator. I have simply rebuilt the HelloExamples.jar file from the example classes with "jar cvfm HelloExamples.jar Manifest.mf example\hello\*.class" in the classes directory. I know that I am doing something silly, but I cannot see it. Can you help?

    You could read here:
    http://www.borland.com/techpubs/jbuilder/jbuilder5/me/deploy.html

And you could try to append the -C switch like the following example

Example 2: use an existing manifest file 'mymanifest' and archive all the files in the foo/ directory into 'classes.jar':
    jar cvfm classes.jar mymanifest -C foo/ .

    OR

Are you using Jbuilder ? Why not use the "Create Midlet suite" command it will do all the stuff for you.

the you can use the "recreate" command for every time you want to update the Jar file.

and "Create Application descriptor" to create the JAD file needed.
