    Welcome to Forum Nokia!

A linked list is easy enough to implement. First, can I ask why you want to use a linked list specifically, rather than a Vector or Hashtable?

I know it's easy, just don't want to make one more list, there must be already one i'm sure
I want to use LinkedList as same as Vector, nothing specific, just to make it work faster. Delete, insert operations take a lot for Vectors

    Re: Linked List for CLDC1.0

The actual insertion or deletion of the object is faster for a LinkedList, but locating the object to delete (or the objects to insert inbetween) will be much slower (if you want to do so by index), unless you always want to insert and delete at one of the ends (such as, to implement a queue). Retrieving an object randomly by index is also much faster with a Vector.

A LinkedList will only out perform a Vector in very specific situations. In some cases, it's design might need to accomodate that situation (such as, by being doubly-linked).

I haven't seen a public implementation, but here's a J2SE implementation, which should be easy enough to adapt.

    Graham.
