    How programmatically switch back and forth keyboard?

    Hello,

    I am writing an Flash Lite application for E63 model which need to treat key 'R' as '1', 'T' as '2' and 'Y' as '3' and so on sometime.
    I did not find how to do that anywhere in the documentation.

    Can you advice, please?

    Thank you in advance,
    Gershon

    Please, be more specific about ur issue . If u want to simulate any key in flash lite, than it is not possible. But if u just want to put "1" in a textfield when "R" is pressed, than it is possible. You have to use a dynamic text field and a key listener , than if the user pressed "R" key than append "1" to the dynamic text field. Hope it is clear.

    Re: How programmatically switch back and forth keyboard?

    Hello,

    I asked wrong question.
    The right one is this;
    in my device central only numbers are clickable and although my application reacts properly on letters entered of my PC keyboard, I am not sure that it will when the application will run on real device.
    BTW, my application react on '4' as on '6' and on'6' as on entered '4'. I think that confusion comes from the wrong device simulation.

    try press the buttons from the simulator and see what happens - meaning click the keypad of the phone in the emulator
    and not pressing any key on your keyboard...

    you are developing for mobiles right? not for the PC
