    sending frames captured by camera over bluetooth

    hi,
    I need to send CFbsBitmap object frame from ViewFinderFrameReady(CFbsBitmap& aFrame) through bluetooth.

    is it possible to use DataNewL() function from CImageEncoder class to convert it into descriptor and then send it through bluetooth.

    is there any other way to send video frames through bluetooth.

    Yes, it is possible, CImageEncoder usually works well with descriptors (DataNewL). But it will not be too fast, expect around 6-8 FPS only.
    The other way would be using the built-in video codecs, they are available in the SDK API plugin packs (http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/SDK_API_Plug-in) starting from S60 3rd FP2 (MDFDevVideo or something like that).
    The intermediate solution for older devices (S60 3rd noFP and FP1) could be capturing low resolution video, and applying your own compression on it.

    how about using OpenDesL() function form Class CVideoRecorderUtility.

    this is the function m using(edited from S60_Platform_Video_Example)

    void CVideoRecorderAdapter::StartL(MPlayerUIControllerListener* aCallback, TInt aCameraHandle)
    {
    HBufC8* iBuffer;
    iBuffer = HBufC8::NewL(32);
    TPtr8 fP = iBuffer->Des();

    iUtility->OpenDesL(fP, aCameraHandle, iControllerUid, iFormatUid);

    }

    so now i need to check if really video clip is stored in fP. how will i know is it getting stored.

    OR should I directly send it over bluetooth.
    making an application for using mobile as webcam for nokia 6681 mobile.

    That may have some problems: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ecorderUtility
    Though I do not know if it still applies.
