    double values in j2ME

    Hello,
    1. can we use double datatype in j2ME
    2. if yes, then how can i save in in a Record using RMS. is it a normal procedure: first convert to string then bytes then add into a recrod store. thanks

    You can use double and float on devices that support CLDC-1.1, but not on devices that support only CLDC-1.0.

    You can save all kinds of data in RMS - see this wiki article for how to use a DataOutputStream and ByteArrayOutputStream to convert all kinds of data to a byte array suitable for storage.
