    Common installation problems on cell phone

    Hello,
    Please dicuss the common problem which you experienced while trying to run your MIDlet on mobile cell phone and the solution as well. i install my MIDlet on Nokia cell phone. some part of the MIDlet is working fine but when selected a particular option from a list then it gives following error. please someone guide me why it happening. its running fine on Mobile Simulator. Moreover i use decimal option from TextField class to take input and then convert it into integer data type and then handle that integer for furture needs. the error is as follows

    NumberFormat java/lang/NumberformatExceptoin Null

    The issue is with this:

    TextField class to take input and then convert it into integer data type
    NumberFormat java/lang/NumberformatExceptoin Null is thrown when you try to convert String to Interger which is not a number, may be having some blanks, try trim().

    Or take TextFiled as Numeric.

    That last one, a Numeric textField instea of ANY, would be my advise as well...

    Or take TextFiled as Numeric
    i changed the textField as NUMERIC: carInput = new TextField("Enter Numeric data in Rs.", "", 15, TextField.NUMERIC); But the problem is intact. It also not displayin the tables which don't have integer conversion to string.
