    Question SMS Subject

    I made an application that catches sms messages when moved to outbox. When the sms is detected I change his body with something new. After the message is sent, in the Sent folder I can see the modified sms. The body (content) of the sms is the new one but the subject (preview line) it shows the old content.

    I tried something like this:
    Code:
    iSmsMtm->SetSubjectL(_L("new subject"));
    but leaves leaves with KErrNotSupported. I have to use a special encoding for the text?

    Is there a way to set the subject of a SMS or is automatically generated ?

    What you see in the list view is not the sender+subject, but TMsvEntry::iDetails/iDescription. Note that SMS-es have no subject, that is why setting it is not supported.
