    [moved] carbide ui design 320x240 for E72

    hello,

    please bare with me if am taking nonsense, the is my first symbian project

    I want to develop an small application for E72 and I am unable to find an 320x240 "portrait" resolution in ui designer.
    I have installed carbide.c++ v2.5.0 and S60_3rd_FP2_SDK_v1.1

    in ui designer I have "S60 QVGA Portrait 3.1+ (240 x 320)" and "S60 QVGA Landscape 3.1+ (320 x 240)"
    is there an "portrait (320 x 240)" available ?
    I know that E72 does not have portrait and landscape mode but I am curious to know it I can have an 320 x 240 resolution in ui designer with "options & exit" buttons in the right place ?

    thanks,

    i donot think you can set the UI designers phone screen orientation. But i suggest you use emulator to for a quick test of your code.

    hello,

    I do not want to change the orientation, in carbide file -> new -> S60 UI Design, empty design, it generates an layout with "options" and "exit" at the bottom
    this layout has 240x320 resolution, I want it to be 320x240 (to look like the screen of an E72), can I do that somehow ?

    thanks,
