Hey Welcome to the Forum Nokia Discussion Boards!!

Kindly check that what are the values of the MIDP and CLDC version respectively?

Please make the MISP version 2.0 and CLDC as 1.1 or 1.0.
    Thanks with Regards,

And what are the API/JSR that you might be using...?
have you add the permission for the same..?

Better if you could check or share the JAD and Manifest fils entries.
    Thanks with Regards,

    Re: mobile N97 Symbian

Do not update the JAD, after build the JAR.

Update the JAD file, clean and rebuild the entire project to create the JAR. This will resolve this Issue.

Attributes in JAD & .MF in the jar should be same.

    thanks,

when i am making changes in jad and recompiling and building the project again by default the value 2.1 is coming for MIDP.By default it is taking MIDP value as 2.1.Then how can change 2.0 for both jad and jar.

In my application by default the values for jad and jar is 2.1. When i am changing the values also it is taking as 2.1....after building the project.

Go to the dist folder if you are using the Netbeans IDE or Bin if you are using the WTK and delete the jad and jar files. Now recompile and run the project.

Please make sure that the MIDP2.0 and CLDC 1.1 or 1.0 has been selected from the IDE or setting from the WTK.
    Thanks with Regards,

Which IDE you are using - Netbeans or Eclipse or WTK - which ever go to project setting, set the target device profile as MIDP 2.0 and CLDC 1.1 then rebuild and package....
