I just posted over in the Symbian forum (see http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...791#post731791 ), but I thought maybe I should mention the problem here:

I'm working with a large application that has experienced occasional, non-reproducible situations where a background image on a screen (essentially a large round-cornered rectangle) apparently becomes inaccessible and stops being drawn. This happens after the application has been functioning OK for some time. The image is in a PNG in a resource file. No other "odd" things are occurring that would suggest storage corruption or the like.

Has anyone seen this before?

Does anyone have any idea what would make a PNG in a resource file go inaccessible after first being accessible in an application?
