    Write into .jad file dynamically

    Hi All,

    Is it possible to write into the .jad file dynamically after installation?
    If yes, then how please help me...

    No, AFAIK you can not modify the JAD after installation.

    Let me know, why you need so... we may give you some workarounds.

    Once you install the app, neither you can access jad nor jad. after installation even you would not behaving any scope of jar/jad.

    In my application IP address is in the jad file.
    So for the first time I am reading the IP address of the server to which I need to connect.
    And in my application there is an option to change the IP.So I want to update the corresponding IP values in the jad file if there is a change occurs.

    Rather than trying to write/updating the JAD file you can save this IP in the RMS and then can update later.

    I have already implemented in the same way you suggesting.
    I am storing that in the local database.
