How to hide the title/banner section on the canvas?

I am displaying some content on canvas.
can you help me how to hide or disable the title/banner section of the screen?
    or
how to show the menu/command section on the canvas which is in full screen mode(using setFullScreen).

Re: How to hide the title/banner section on the canvas?

You can use Canvas.setFullScreenMode(true); in your canvas class.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    setFullScreenMode
public void setFullScreenMode(boolean mode)Controls whether the Canvas is in full-screen mode or in normal mode.

In this case, you have draw your own Menu or soft button command and use Keypressed() methods to handle them.

You can also try LWUIT (Light Weight UI Toolkit) from SUN, it can help you make good and highly portable UI for your J2me app.

    thanks,
    ~Amitabh

    Parameters:
mode - true if the Canvas is to be in full screen mode, false otherwise
    Since:
    MIDP 2.0

Yeah just use the Canvas, and customize the look and feel like this command and menus.Command are nothing in the Canvas but just the left, fire and right soft keys, you draw the menu on either of the keys and the handle the event in the keypressed() and according to the menu items current Selection just take the action.
    Thanks with Regards,

You can ref to this code example on FN Wiki -->

    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph..._graphical_API

It shows you -- how to make use of fullCanvas screen with your own menu painting & handling.
