Wink Issue in Hello World example

this situation was in the get started example but i can not see the helloworld text :S
    Don’t forget that
you’ll need to bring Hello Text to the foreground if you’re using the
    S60 emulator.

    What should i do ???

Have you checked the "installation" (or similarly named) folder in the emulators main menu view ?, all build applciation should have their icon located in there by default.

or you can just debug and run the application if thats error free you will see the application running on the emulator.

Have you followed the instructions mentioned in the SDK doc Getting Started Guide >> Creating an Application >> Building and Running the HelloWorld Basic Example Application?

Have you tried creating a Helloworld using the wizard and seeing if that builds?

IS your emulator working properly (i.e. do you see the behaviour correctly if other applications are open from menu and they run properly?

Put breakpoint in the ConstructL of your AppUi class and see if it reaches there or not.
