Help and tips with mobile app

    Hello,

I need to make an application on a mobile phone which reads the accelerometer and sends the data through BlueTooth which is then received by a computer. Does anyone here has some experience with developing on mobile phones? It has to work on most of the recent cell phones (the ones with accelrometer ofcourse). Should you really use all the seperate SDK's or is there something more easy?

    Best regards,

    JJ

You definetely need to use SDK and do programming, anyway, do choose between Java/Symbian C++, and then ask more specific question under the selected technology parts of this discussion board.

With the S60 3rd Edition MR (Maintenance Relese) SDK, if you're careful, you can make your app work on S60 3rd Edition, S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 3 devices, and possibly even S60 5th Edition based devices (however, the touch screen handling may require additional work, depending on your application).
