    Render transforms

    Hi all,

I'm very new to Symbian development, so please bear with me.

Is there any support for render transforms on the platform? Specifically, I'm looking for the equivalent of a CWindowGc.DrawBitmap overload that accepts a transformation matrix (I want to display a rotated image, but not necessarily modify the original image).

I'd prefer to stick with CWindowGc if I can, but I'm happy to look at OGL if that's my only choice.

    Many thanks,

    Re: Render transforms

OpenGL can certainly do that, but otherwise there is no other direct API for it.
If you are familiar with trigonometry, you can apply a custrom, DDA-based polygon filler, as discussed here: http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ad.php?t=78676
Actually there is a TLinearDDA class in the SDK, just I was not aware of that - but you can try that too.

Thanks for the answer wizard_hu_, it looks like it's going to have to be OpenGL.
