    change node value of local xml using XMLHttpRequest

    Hi..

    I can read node value of local XML file using XMLHttpRequest in WRT widget.

    how can i change node value of local xml file using XMLHttpRequest?

    please help me

    Hi kuddy_abc,

    if the XML is stored on the device filesystem, you could implement a C++ functionality that allows your widget to write on the filesystem (e.g.: by using API Bridge), since there's currently no functionality that allows to do this.

    If the XML is packaged within the widget WGZ file, then you cannot actually overwrite it with a modified version: in this case, what you could do is to store the modified version in the widget preferences, by using the widget.setPreferenceForKey() method.

    it has a feature to read file but doesn't has feature to write file.

    so i have to create a own plugin to do this. am i correct?

    Yes, you would have to create your own plugin. Anyway, if your need is just to save the modified XML file, a really simpler approach would be to use the widget preferences, as mentioned in my previous post.
