I would say that two are three ways to check this -

1.Ask either the Sony or the Verisign on the flow whether they support each other respectively.
2.Make a demo that uses the certificate (Means sign the app) and assign the proper settings and then check whether this device still ask for the permission/display the same alert and behave as the unsigned ..

BTW what are the issue you might be facing, can share here and even on the sony forums.
    Thanks with Regards,

thanks, my issue is whenever my app sending sms it will prompt a message "allow sending message". And I want to skip this step. Is this certificate issue or Can we handle this by code?

Did you sign the app using the third party certificate?
In order to skip these alerts you have to sign the app..
    Thanks with Regards,

    Hi,

In Nokia , You can see like list of the certificate available in your phone by going to the Settings-->phone-->Phone management-->security settings-->certificate management-->Authority certificates here you will see list of the certificates available in your phone in S60 5th edition devices , same thing will be there in the S40 as well as in the sony phones.

You might want to check out the Sony Ericsson developer site.

As with Nokia devices, the exact set of certificates available on a handset may depend on operator-specific firmware.

If I remember correctly, Sony Ericsson devices usually have Verisign root certificates.

Yes, you will need to sign the app for your purpose... you can use verisign it works on SE devices.
You can also go for Java verified if you want to support max no. of J2me devices.
    Thanks,
