Export TC TrustCenter certificate from safari browser

    Hi..

we applied for a Publisher ID from TC TrustCenter using safari browser.

In order to install the certificate into safari browse, they sent us a link.

now we installed it to the browser. but, we are unable to export it.

    For MAC Safari:

open Finder and go to Applications -> Utilities -> Keychain Access

double click on Keychain to open it

on the left, click on Certificates

highlight the certificate to export and open File -> Eport

    choose an appropriate filename

    The problem is,

    There are only following extension

    .cer
    .p7b
    .pem

    but NOT

    .p12 or pfx

    please help me

    thanks

If you like such challenges, you should also like Google. Blindly typing cer p7b pem p12 pfx already gives some ideas.

Re: Export TC TrustCenter certificate from safari browser

I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, or if you ever got an answer, but here's how I did it:

    To export the private key:

Go into Keychain, and search for "Key from www.trustcenter.de".
Export the private key to a p12 file. In this case, we'll call it trustcenter.p12.
In a terminal window, type: openssl pkcs12 -in trustcenter.p12 -nocerts -nodes -out trustcenter.key.pem

To get the certificate, just go into Keychain, find the certificate you downloaded, and export it to a .cer file.

Set the properties in funambol-symbian-client-forge.properties accordingly, and you should be on your way.
