    Hi,

    eg:
    TBuf<20>msg;
    msg.Copy(_L("Hello"));

    CAknTextQueryDialog* queryDlg = CAknTextQueryDialog::NewL(msg);
    queryDlg->PrepareLC(R_ASK_DIALOG); // implement R_ASK_DIALOG in RSS file
    queryDlg->SetPromptL(_L("Enter Msg:"));
    TInt err = queryDlg->RunLD();
    ......
    if(err !=KErrNone)
    {
    // Edit data.... eg: Hello D
    }else{
    //Same data.... eg Hello
    }

    or
    save in file.....

    Re: how to save data in data query dialog

    i suggest you move TBuf<4> TPPLNumber; in header file as a class member so that you can access the user input later in your application. hope that helps.
